| Working Principle | Under acidic conditions (pH 1.5~2.0), aniline compounds undergo diazotization with nitrite. The resulting diazonium salt then couples with N-(1- naphthyl)ethylenediamine dihydrochloride to form a magenta dye, which is quantified by spectrophotometry. | Urea reacts with diacetyl monoxime and antipyrine to form a yellow complex. The absorbance is proportional to the urea concentration. | The sample is mixed with a catalyst and a strong oxidizing digesting agent.
